Envirofone is one of the oldest phone recycling companies, set up in 2005. It’s now owned by Redeem UK Limited, a UK based company set up in January 2016. Envirofone claim that “since 2005 we've paid out over £150 million to more than 4 million happy customers.” They have a score of 8.2/10 on Trustpilot, based on over 15,000 reviews. When there has been issues with customers unhappy with their service, they are extremely quick at replying and it would appear they do their utmost to come up with a solution.

They offer free delivery and use Faster Payments which means you’ll receive the cash for your phone the same day they receive it. They accept broken phones and test each one individually, so you get an individual price based on individual faults. If you're not happy with the offer they will return if free of charge. If you’re looking to buy a new phone they offer an extra 10% for your phone if you purchase your next one through their site.

They have an extensive FAQ section on their website which covers every question you might have. They provide details on everything from how to send them your phone, to how they test the phones and assess their damage and value. They also claim that 98% of their mobiles are reused and in most cases are refurbished and sold in developing countries where they can play a major part in helping develop fledgling communication networks.
